RCMP release sketch of person of interest in Sackville stabbing

Mounties have released a sketch of a person of interest following a stabbing in Sackville.

Officers were called to a residence on Salem Street around 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 7.

“The victim confronted a man who was stealing from inside of a vehicle that was parked outside of the victim’s residence,” RCMP said in a news release.

“A physical altercation between the man and the victim ensued, which then led to the victim being stabbed.”

The other man fled in a white SUV heading toward Queens Road before officers arrived.

Police are looking to speak to anyone who recognizes the individual in the sketch.
