RCMP Raise Concerns Over Expired Vehicle Registrations

Close to 1400 tickets have been handed out in Greater Moncton over the past nine months, and Codiac RCMP have identified six common infractions.

A third quarter report was released last night by the Codiac Regional Policing Authority.

The number one violation is motorists with expired vehicle registrations.

Other infractions include not having a current vehicle inspection certificate, not being insured, and driving without a license.

Tickets were also issued in Riverview and Dieppe for speeding.

In Moncton, motorists were also fined for failing to stop at a stop sign or traffic light.
