Police say they are treating the death of a 16-year-old boy in the Sussex area as suspicious.
RCMP says they were called to a home on Orchard Crescent in Picadilly around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
“When police arrived, they found a 16-year-old boy deceased inside the home,” said the RCMP in a news release Thursday.
No one else was in the home at the time, police said. An autopsy will be conducted to help determine the boy’s cause of death.
The New Brunswick RCMP’s Major Crime Unit has taken over the investigation.
