RCMP are looking for a man who followed a 16-year-old girl from the Blacks Harbour Fresh Mart to her nearby house earlier this week.
When the girl arrived at her residence, the man, who was a stranger to the girl, asked to use her phone and asked if anyone else was inside.
The girl replied that her father was inside and the man promptly left the area. Police were then called to investigate.
The man is described as possibly in his early 30s with short, dark hair, and a few day-old beard. He is approximately 5’8′ to 5’9′ with a slim to average build. The man is also described as having a chubby face and mumbles when speaking. He was wearing baggy jeans and a dark sweater.
Police are reminding the public to never allow strangers into their homes.
