RCMP investigating suspicious death near Grand Manan

RCMP are investigating a death on White Head Island, an island off the coast of Grand Manan.

Cpl. Hans Ouellette, a spokesperson for the New Brunswick RCMP, says officers were called to a Marshall Drive home on Wednesday morning.

“When police entered the residence they located a 45-year-old man from the community deceased in the home,” Ouellette said in an interview.

“At this time, police are treating this death as suspicious in nature and an autopsy is scheduled to determine the exact cause of death of this individual.”

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
