The RCMP is asking for the public’s help after a barn fire in River Glade, near Salisbury, was determined to have been deliberately set.
Police say officers and several fire departments responded to a blaze on Homestead Road shortly after midnight on September 28. No one was injured.

Investigators have determined that the fire was intentionally set. Sgt. Ricky LeBlond of the Caledonia Region RCMP remarked that this is not the first fire reported in the area.
“We are urging anyone with information about this incident, or any other suspicious activity, to contact police or Crime Stoppers. Your tip could make a difference,” LeBlond said in the release.
Police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have dash cam or security camera footage, to contact the Caledonia Region RCMP at 506-387-2222.
