RCMP are investigating the discovery of human remains near Port Elgin.
Corporal Laurent Lemieux says around 1 o’clock in the afternoon of May 5th, a fisherman called the RCMP after discovering the remains on the bank of the Timber River near Port Elgin.
Lemieux had no further information to add, other than an autopsy is being conducted to help determine identity, and cause of death.
