RCMP Investigating After Shots Fired Near Grand Barachois Home

Southeast District RCMP are investigating after a number of shots were fired near a home in Grand Barachois Thursday.

Shortly after 3 in the afternoon, RCMP members were called to a home on Route 133 after the home owner reported hearing gunshots.

On arrival, police discovered several shots had been fired, including one that struck the house, and a nearby vehicle was also damaged.

The RCMP say no one was inside the home at the time the shots were fired, and nobody was injured.
