Oromocto RCMP responded to a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle in Mill Cove.
First responders were called to the scene on Route 105 around 2 p.m. Saturday.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 61-year-old man from Salmon River Road, died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was not injured.
First responders said four bystanders performed CPR in an attempt to save the motorcyclist’s life.
Circumstances surrounding the collision and its cause remain under investigation.
