RCMP Identify Bones Found Outside Home

There are new developments today in a northern New Brunswick murder investigation.

Police say bones discovered outside a home in Dundee are those of 54-year-old Brigitte Pelletier.

Officers were called to the home back on July 28 to conduct a well-being check on Pelletier.

They were not able to locate the woman but they did find human bones outside the home.

Pelletier’s spouse, 56-year-old Gilles Moreau, was charged with first-degree murder in her death on July 31.

He was remanded into custody and is due back in court on October 5.
