RCMP Assistant Commisioner Gives Thanks To City Of Moncton

RCMP Assistant Commissioner Roger Brown gave his thanks at last night’s Moncton City Council meeting, and asked for a prominent public space to be allocated for a memorial in honour of the three fallen officers, Constables Dave Ross, Fabrice Gevauden and Douglas Larche

He hopes it will be a place so visitors, tourists and others in the city could see it on a regular basis and be reminded of the sacrifice of the officers.

Brown hopes the memorial can be ready in time for the one year anniversary of their deaths on June 4th next year.

He also thanked the City for its support during the tragic events, and for its continued support for the families devastated by the deaths.
