The Sackville RCMP arrested three individuals in connection to an attempted break and enter at an NB Power substation in Memramcook.
Police say they received a report of suspicious activity at the Memramcook East NB Power Plant around 10:20 p.m. on Oct. 5. An NB Power employee watched people try to breach the fence and substation, according to the RCMP
Upon arriving at the scene, police found two people in a vehicle nearby. When they approached the vehicle, the driver attempted to escape but was arrested moments later.
With the help of RCMP Police Dog Services, a third person was located near the scene.
Among those arrested is a 42-year-old man who has been released. Police say a 38-year-old woman taken into custody will appear in Moncton Provincial Court on Feb. 4.
In addition, A 27-year-old man taken into custody has been remanded on outstanding warrants and appeared in court on Oct. 8.
