Rainfall Warning Prompts Reminder From City Of Moncton

The City of Moncton has work crews on standby to deal with any possible flooding.

Today’s rainfall warning prompted them to monitor all roads and drainage points, as well as open the spillway gates at Centennial Park and Jones Lake.

The City is asking residents to take a moment to ensure storm drains near their property are clear of leaves and debris in order to reduce the risk of flooding.

Residents who are experiencing flooding, or who wish to report flooding or other hazards can call the City of Moncton’s 24/7 dispatch line at 859-2643.
