Smoke from wildfires in Quebec is causing air quality concerns in New Brunswick.
A special air quality statement has been issued for nearly the entire province, with the exception of Saint John and Charlotte counties.
Officials said Sunday that wildfire smoke has moved over much of the province.
“Some of this smoke will descend to ground level causing reduced air quality,” said the statement.
Air quality is expected to improve late Sunday night, officials said.
