Joe Roberts, who was homeless when he was younger, has been pushing a shopping cart across the country to raise awareness and money to prevent, and support youth homelessness.
Roberts will be stopping by in Moncton and Saint John this week.
The national trek started in St. John’s, Newfoundland on May 1st and he’ll finish off his journey on September 30th in Vancouver, BC.
Roberts lived on the streets of Vancouver in 1989 and wants to help give others a second chance.
He says the purpose is to have a conversation with Canadians about what we need to do, to build infrastructure to prevent and reduce and end youth homelessness.
