Residents are being encouraged to visit the newly named Centre Avenir Centre this weekend for the grand opening of the multi million dollar events centre on Main Street.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 10 Saturday morning, after which people can tour the new facility, while live entertainment and other activities will take place in the plaza until 8 tonight.
Further events will take place from noon to 5 tomorrow.
All events and activities are free – and all citizens are welcome to explore the brand new $113-million building.
