He says the report acknowledged we have to make the transition to a carbon neutral society.
Coon adds the world is going green, and we should be looking forwards.
He says it’s clear the fossil fuel era is fading and the government needs to invest in the green energy sector.
Coon says 18-percent of New Brunswick’s energy is now renewable, while natural gas occupies a 17-percent slice and is in decline.
