Several dozen protestors showed up at the Dieppe postal plant last night in an effort to try and stop changes being implemented by Canada Post.
The protest was organized by the New Brunswick Federation of Labour but other groups were represented too along with concerned citizens.
Riverview resident Meghan Lucker turned out because she’s concerned changes to the mail system are eliminating jobs in Metro Moncton.
Federation of Labour spokesperson Patrick Colford says they are also protesting the changeover from door-to-door delivery to community mailboxes.
Colford adds there may be other protests in the near future but he can’t say where or when.
