Premier David Alward has invited First Nations Chiefs from across the province to meet with him next week, saying he wants to instill a new spirit of cooperation and better relationship with First Nations and identify the right path forward for our province.
The relationship has been strained over shale gas development on First Nations land and the protests near Rexton which turned violent.
