Premier Called On To Sell Fishing Lodge

With the latest controversy over the government owned private fishing resort named Larry’s Gulch, Provincial NDP leader Dominic Cardy is calling on Premier Brian Gallant to sell it.

He says both the Liberals and Conservatives have found themselves in hot water by using the resort for partisan political purposes with favours being exchanged. Cardy adds he fails to see how the use of the lodge has bettered the lives of New Brunswickers.

Two editors from the Moncton Times and Transcript lost their jobs after it became known they had tried to alter the publicly released guest list.

Former Tourism Minister Trevor Holder has released a statement on the Conservative Party website saying he was not pressured to change any guest list. Past guests at the lodge have included former President Bill Clinton.
