Premier Brian Gallant is being accused of privatising healthcare by Opposition leader Blaine Higgs. He wants the 10 year contract given Medavie to manage Extra-Mural, Ambulance NB and Telecare made public.
The Premier says the new arrangement will improve care and accuses Higgs of fear mongering.
At one stage, the Speaker of the Legislature determined their language was unparliamentary when they each implied the other was being less than truthful.
