Power should be restored to the majority of Rothesay, Fredericton, Sussex, St. Stephen and a handful of other communities across the province by midnight.
That prediction being made by NB Power who is reporting more than 6000 homes and businesses off the grid as of late this afternoon.
More than 4000 of those outages are in the Woodstock area. The Rothesay district meantime experiencing more than 300 outages with the majority in Clifton Royal and Rothesay itself. There are over 100 outages in the St. Stephen region.
