UPDATE: No Word On Cause Of Power Outage On Christmas Eve Day

An unplanned power outage earlier today left over 1900 NB Power customers in Moncton without electricity.

The lights were out for around two hours, but there’s no word yet what caused the outage.

Comments on social media stated that areas including West Main, Salisbury Road and the Bessborough area were affected.

Power was restored just after 12pm.
