A recall has been issued after a metal object was found inserted in a potato harvested and packaged in Prince Edward Island.
The potatoes are being sold through Linkletter Farms of Summerside, PEI.
The company is recalling several products after a person complained about a metal object inserted into a potato.
They’ve been sold throughout Atlantic Canada.
Mounties are currently investigating because tampering is a crime.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is asking people to carefully check their potatoes for foreign objects.
