Residents of the tri-communities are being told to expect more discolouration in their water – at least for another week.
Officials from Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe say work has been extended until Friday, September 6 for the inspection of both water transmission lines from the water treatment plant.
Water discolouration may appear periodically and it’s due to manganese build-up on the lines.
There is no health impact but doing laundry is not recommended during discolouration since it could stain clothes.
