Portion Of Main Street Now Reduced To One Way

If you are visiting the downtown, take note. There are some changes on Main Street.

It has now been converted to a one way westbound street between Botsford and Lutz Street.

A bi-directional bike lane has also been added, along with concrete barriers separating the one way street and the bike lane.

This will be in place until September.

The City of Moncton approved the changes, as a result of physical distancing rules due to COVID-19.

Businesses will now be able to expand their patios to allow for extra space.
