A poll by Forum Research shows that the Liberals are leading in popularity in Atlantic Canada with 47 percent support.
The NDP came in second at 27 percent and the Conservatives were third with 21 percent.
However, the poll shows a different story in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia where the NDP are in the lead with Alberta showing the Conservatives ahead and the NDP in a strong, second place finish.
The poll was conducted earlier this month and surveyed almost 1500 Canadians.
