Two-thirds of residents are satisfied with the performance of Moncton City Council under the leadership of Mayor Dawn Arnold according to a survey by Corporate Research Associates.
Just under 200 Moncton residents were asked about government satisfaction.
The finding comes despite a recent controversial decision by Council to increase its own pay of between 20 and 35 percent in January.
Meantime, another poll of 400 adults has found consumer confidence in Moncton continues to climb this quarter after a notable drop at the beginning of 2016
CRA conducted the telephone surveys from October 20th to November 12th.
