Police Identify Rothesay Couple Found Dead

The Kennebecasis Regional Police Force has released the names of two people found dead in Rothesay last week.

They are 77-year-old Alberta McGaghey, known as Beth, and her 90-year-old husband, Kevin McGaghey.

Their bodies were found in a home on Gondola Point Road last Thursday night.

Police have said the woman’s death is a homicide, but they are not seeking any suspects and the public is not at risk.

Investigators are not revealing how the man died but say foul play is not suspected.

Autopsies were slated to be performed on the weekend and police say both deaths are still under investigation.
