Poley Mountain Opening This Week

Great news for winter enthusiasts looking to hit the slopes.

Southern New Brunswick’s two ski hills are scheduled to open in the coming days.

Poley Mountain near Sussex will open on Thursday, according to its website.

You can find a list of the resort’s hours on its website.

For those in the Fredericton area, Crabbe Mountain was scheduled to open on Friday.

But with heavy rain in the forecast, officials have delayed the opening until Dec. 26.

Poley and Crabbe are not the first New Brunswick ski hills to open for the season.

Mont Farlagne in Edmundston and Sugarloaf Mountain in Campbellton opened over the weekend.
