A community victims rights advocate wants to represent the Liberals in the riding of Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe.
Ginette Petitpas Taylor, coordinator of the Codiac RCMP’s Victim Services program, has decided to throw her hat in the ring as a potential candidate for the Liberals ahead of this October’s federal election.
She once served as chair of the New Brunswick Advisory Council of the Status of Women between 2004 to 2008 and has served on numerous boards and communities both provincially and in Metro Moncton.
Petitpas Taylor grew up in Dieppe and graduated from l’Université de Moncton with a degree in social work.
The riding is currently held by Conservative Robert Goguen.
