Peter Mansbridge Announces His Retirement

A well known face and journalist on national television has announced his retirement.

Peter Mansbridge, who is a veteran CBC News anchor, will step down from his chair on “The National” on July 1st next year.

The 68 year old has spent nearly five decades in the business, and he has won dozens of awards.

He also currently serves as the Chancellor of Mount Allison University in New Brunswick.
