A 28-year-old Perth-Andover man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting incident in Hillandale near the village.
Late Thursday morning, police responded to a report of shots fired near the intersection of Route 130 and Beacons Field Road.
Police learned a person driving a white pickup truck pulled up to a man walking on the road and discharged a firearm at the man before taking off.
A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.
A person of interest was arrested about 6 p.m. that evening without incident
Jessy Miller appeared in Woodstock Provincial Court last Friday through tele-remand where he was charged with attempted murder.
He was held in custody with a scheduled court date on April 22nd.
