Peoples Alliance Leader Says Cancellation Of 2021 Francophonie Games ‘Reponsible Thing To Do’

The Leader of the Peoples Alliance Party agrees with the decision to cancel the 2021 Francophonie Games.

Kris Austin says any other decision would have been irresponsible.

He adds that cancelling the games shows that the province is attempting to live within its means, while it attempts to get its fiscal house in order.

Austin also says he isn’t as concerned of how the cancellation will affect the province’s image on the national and international stage.
