A 45 year old woman from PEI is dead after an accident on the Trans Canada Highway.
RCMP says the woman from Crapaud was walking on Highway 1, when she was struck by a car late yesterday afternoon. She died as a result of her injuries.
The weather conditions and visibility were not good at the time of the accident.
