Charges have been laid in PEI in connection with the deaths of two infants.
A 39 year old woman from Charlottetown is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday to answer to several charges, including two counts of infanticide, two counts of failing to seek assistance in childbirth and two counts of disposing of the dead body of a child with the intent to conceal the fact it had been delivered.
Charlottetown Police say this comes after a year long investigation, that dates back to the alleged incidents in 2014 and 2016.
