Pedestrian dies after crash near Miramichi

A 65-year-old woman has died after police say she was struck by a vehicle near Miramichi.

First responders were called to the crash on Micmac Road in Red Bank back on Nov. 11.

The pedestrian, who was from Red Bank First Nation, died from her injuries on Monday.

Police said the driver of the vehicle did not suffer any physical injuries during the crash.

Mounties believe poor weather and road conditions were a factor in the collision, which is still under investigation.
