Progressive Conservative leader Blaine Higgs is on the road campaigning and we had a chat with him about the response he has been getting so far.
Higgs told our newsroom he is telling New Brunswickers if they want to turn the province around, they need to support the PCs because the province cannot afford another four years of Brian Gallant.
“The government today is costing $1 billion more per year than it was four years ago. There’s isn’t anything to show for it,” Higgs said. “Our wait times are the longest in the country, our economy is last place in the country, our education results are next to last, and our taxes are the highest in the country.
Higgs said the announcements he has made so far are about a better more responsible government with better service delivery with the money we are spending while Gallant is about looking to buy your vote with your tax dollars.
