Heat warnings issued for parts of N.B.

It’s going to be a hot start to the week.

A number of areas in central and southeastern New Brunswick are under a heat warning.

It includes Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick, St. Stephen and Northern Charlotte County, Kennebecasis Valley and Kings County, Woodstock, Oromocto, and Fredericton.

Environment Canada says temperatures could reach 31 to 33 degrees, but with the humidex on Monday and Tuesday, it’ll feel more like 36 to 38.

There will be little relief overnight with lows of 18.

Conditions are expected to come back down to more normal levels on Wednesday as a cold front moves through the province.
