Parks Canada is reopening two national historic sites in Southeast New Brunswick with limited services next Monday, July 20.
Fort Beausejour-Fort Cumberland in Aulac will reopen with roving interpretation services and portable washrooms with access to the British casemates and picnic pavilion.
But the visitor centre remains closed and 18th century-style camping is not being offered this year.
Monument-Lefebvre in Memramcook will reopen its visitor centre, gift shop, exhibit and theatre.
Also in Miramichi, Boishébert and Beaubears Island Shipbuilding National Historic Sites will be reopening and most services are being offered except for the Voyager Canoe Program.
Due to the pandemic, Parks Canada says this year will be a different experience at national historic sites noting how public health guidelines must be followed.
Visitors are urged to check the official websites of national historic sites before they travel to find out what to expect.
