Emergency personnel were called to Edith Cavell school this morning after reports of a noxious smell in the staff lunchroom.
Several teachers reported a sore throat as a result.
Spokesperson with Anglophone East school District Heather Stordy says there was an issue with a mini refrigerator in the room, and that is where the smell was coming from.
Paramedics assessed staff that were in the area, and the room was aired out.
School operations resumed a short time later.
