Oxycodone Seized At Dorchester Penitentiary

Over $13, 000 worth of drugs have been seized at Dorchester Penitentiary.

Staff members confiscated over 26 grams of oxycodone last month from the medium security unit.

Correctional Service of Canada says a number of tools are used to prevent drugs from entering its institutions, including scanners and drug-detector dogs.

They help to search buildings, personal property, inmates and visitors.
