Codiac RCMP conducted two checkstops last night as part of Safe Driving Week.
Corporal Peter MacLean says over one hundred vehicles were stopped.
He adds two drivers were given seven day suspensions – those are handed out when someone has a blood alcohol concentration higher than 0.05% but is still under the legal limit of 0.08%.
MacLean says they caught a driver with a suspended licence, and one impaired driver.
He says the checkstops also led to another person facing a pending drug charge.
Seven police vehicles were involved in the overnight operation.
