A big year for the CIBC Run for the Cure.
Over 470 runners and walkers went to Riverfront Park yesterday, for the cause.
Over $68, 000 dollars was raised locally.
This was the 29th year for the event in Greater Moncton.
$17 million was raised from runs held across the country.
The money will be used for breast cancer research.
