Open Fires Banned In Kouchibouguac National Park

Campers may be disappointed at Kouchibouguac National Park during this long weekend.

Due to extremely dry conditions throughout the province, park officials are banning open fires at any time of the day.

Only propane stoves will be permitted for cooking.

The measure is designed to help reduce the risk of forest fires and conditions are being monitored daily.
