Open Fire Restrictions In Place At Kouchibouguac Provincial Park

Extremely dry conditions have forced officials to put open fire restrictions into place at Kouchibouguac National Park.

No fires are permitted during the day, but they will be allowed between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.

This is being done in an effort to prevent forest fires.

Conditions will be monitored on a daily basis, and restrictions will be lifted once they improve.
