One In Custody After Pedestrian Hit By Vehicle

Mounties are releasing few details about an incident which happened off Mapleton Road in Moncton on Friday night.

Staff Sgt. Jamie Melanson said someone was struck by a vehicle on Carson Road around 6:25 p.m.

Melanson said one person has been taken into custody in connection with the incident.

He would not comment on the pedestrian’s injuries and said the matter is still under investigation.
