RCMP are reminding drivers to slow down and use caution on slippery roads in the wake of a fatal crash on Highway 2 near Oromocto this morning.
Police say two vehicles were heading eastbound around 8 o’clock when the first vehicle lost control and hit a second vehicle forcing it off the road and into a power pole.
The driver of the second vehicle died at the scene.
The identity of the individual will not be released until family members are notfiied.
Police say road conditions were extremely poor at the time of the crash.
