The Trans Canada Highway between Moncton and Fredericton in both directions remains closed this morning, as the water levels continue to rise.
Spokesperson for New Brunswick’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Ahmed Dassouki says it’s a waiting game at this point, “It is impossible to say how long the detour will be in place. At this time we are just waiting for the water levels to recede. The safe assumption is that this will be several days.”
