1945 – 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Willa Elizabeth Geldart, who passed away on April 5, 2026, at the Monarch Hall with her family by her side. She was married to Dennis Geldart for over 50 years. Willa was born in Miramichi, NB, to the late Bernard and Hildred (nee Mullin) Baisley.

Willa was a beautiful, kind-hearted, and deeply loving woman—a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, cherished friend, and Christian. Her gentle spirit and thoughtful nature touched everyone who knew her. A truly beautiful soul, she will be remembered always for her warmth, compassion, and quiet strength that carried through every part of her life.

She found great joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially camping, baking, knitting, and sewing – but what made these passions truly special was how she shared them with others. Willa not only shared her creations, but she also loved to teach her loved ones her many skills.

She will be dearly missed by her husband, Dennis; her sons, Darryl, Tim, and Terry (Lori); her sister, Evelyn Baisley; her grandchildren, Dylan, Erica, Brandan, and Alicia; her great-grandchildren, Matthew, Mitchell, TJ, and Liam; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Aside from her parents, Willa was predeceased by her son, Gabriel, her daughter-in-law Felicia, and several brothers and sisters.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Monarch Hall for the care and compassion shown to Willa.

In keeping with Willa’s wishes, cremation has taken place and interment will take place at a later date.  Arrangements are entrusted with Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview NB. (506 869 2007)
